Did my dad see my doppelganger?

One month before his death, my dad told me that, twice, he saw me standing at the foot of his bed looking like an angel in a long White gown. He said he couldn't see through me like you could with a ghost. When he called my name several times, I simply stood there not saying a word. Does anyone think that was my higher self/astral soul/body double/doppelganger? At the time of his two visions of me, the real me wasn't even aware of his impending death. I have two brothers, but he never saw visions of them. I wonder what a doppelganger is and if we all have one.Did my dad see my doppelganger?
maybe the angel sent to watch over him for his last few days was there, and in his mind, the angel was you, remember, angels are not souls, so it is not just an apparition there, it is a real beingDid my dad see my doppelganger?
A doppelg盲nger (pronunciation (help路info)) is the ghostly double of a living person. The word doppelg盲nger is a loanword from German, written there (as any noun) with an initial capital letter Doppelg盲nger, composed from doppel, meaning "double", and g盲nger, literally as "goer" (though in this context, the meaning is closer to "walker"). In English, the word is conventionally not capitalized, and it is also common to drop the German diacritic umlaut on the letter "a" and write "doppelganger", although the correct spelling without umlaut is "doppelgaenger".

The term has, in the vernacular, come to refer to any double or look-alike of a person, most commonly in reference to a so-called evil twin, or to bilocation. Alternatively, the word is used to describe a phenomenon where you catch your own image out of the corner of your eye. In some mythologies, seeing one's own doppelg盲nger is an omen of death. A doppelg盲nger seen by friends or relatives of a person may sometimes bring bad luck, or indicate an approaching illness or health problem.

The above info is from Wipipedia. As you can see it is something you see from the corner of your eye. The rest is just "myth" (fake).Did my dad see my doppelganger?
