Hi! My friend and I are having a bit of a competition to see who has the most accurate doppelganger (famous person that looks like me). Can you help me out and tell me who I look most like?

Any fans of Without a Trace that could tell me how the storyline with the twins ended? Was watching reruns, missed the end, and can't find a recap/summary online that says how it ended.

I'm not sure what exactly you need. Where did you stop? I'll start after Jack takes his field trip. Vivian, Danny, and Martin are watching the twin's building and see them packing up suitcases to leave. Jack tells them to bring them in.
Jack goes after Rick and basically accuses him of never being able to have a relationship because he is too into his brother. Samantha interviews Greg and gets him to admit he saw some trophies that Rick had from the murders. Their lawyer springs them, but it's enough for a search warrant.
Martin and Danny look through Rick's work stuff and find pictures of the victims. Jack and Samantha go to the apartment and are greeted by one of the twins. The apartment is a mess and the twin says that Rick did it and then split. Jack spies blood by the elevator, though, and calls out "Hey, mouse" (which was Rick's nickname that he hated as a child) and the twin turns around, meaning it is actually Rick, not Greg. Jack opens the elevator and finds a badly beaten but alive Greg and calls for an ambulance.

The one evil twin was manipulating the other twin into participating (or have knowledge of and not tell anyone) about the murders .... I don't think it was ever established that the not-so-evil twin KNEW actively participated (at least not KNOWINGLY .. he might have unwittingly set up a situation in which someone got killed by his brother but I don't think he ever actually was IN ON IT). The evil twin killed the brother and when Jack %26amp; Sam found the body, they realized the evil twin had been the one pulling the strings.

Bilocation, Doppelganger?
Does anybody know of any books about Doppelgangers or Bilocation? The wikipedia page just doesn't cut it for me. Whats the difference between the two? The page says that a doppelganger is a sinister form of bilocation or somthing, but is it considered, itself, evil? Or is just the message if usually presents, illness/death, evil?

Can anybody name me works of literature that have twins in them?
I was thinking of doing an essay for my course on how twins are represented in literature but am finding it difficult to find many! Works on the doppelganger are also useful. Help! I already have Shakespeare's Twelfth Night %26amp; Jekyll and Hyde but few others.Can anybody name me works of literature that have twins in them?
someone mentioned Harry Potter already.. and Fred and George.. there are also another set of twins there in Parvati and Padma Patil
There are the dead twin girls in "The Shining"
Stephen King alsohas twins (kind of) in "The Dark Half" with Thad Beaumont and George Stark (if you have not read.. Stark is Beaumonts pseudonym but there is a twinship there too)
Or, Stephen King and Peter Straubs "The Talisman" and "Black House" although not about TWINS.. deals heavily with TWINNERS (2 different worlds, same person w/ similar characterisitics belonging to each world)

I would like to add Harry Potter to the list. (Honestly almost everything covered in English classes can be found in those books!) Fred and George are a great pair.
The doppelganger theme fits well with a Tale of Two Cities. Duality is a HUGE part of that. There are no real twins, but Sydney Carton and Charles Darney look very much alike. (It becomes a plot point).
The Series of Unfortunate Events books feature a set of triplets. (The Quagmires) But that's not twins I guess...

I don't have the answer...sorry to disappoint....but im so wondering that too! i mean i talked to some one else who watches it at school and he just thinks it was pure bad luck. Katherine's ancestor (however long ago the curse was first bound) was just an unlucky girl who was sacrificed....and from there the curse made sure one of her progeny at a later date who be her doppelganger(which was katherine) who could be used to break the curse....from there Elana was Katherine's doppelganger.

Something caught my eye and I looked , It was my Dad cutting a grapefruit in the kitchen.I looked away and then turned back to speak and he wasn't there.I could see him perfectly but he was a bit transparent. My Dad was not dead he was at work. They say a doppelganger is seeing a double of yourself. What did I see? I'm 38 now and will never forget it. After all these years you can see how "real" this was for me.Different kind of a Doppelganger?

Well I recently read about doppelgangers your evil double which is from another dimension and is supposedly the evil version of you and they show up in certain vincinities when you are somewhere else causing people to think its you. I think there is someone else that looks too much like you do. However, there are strange things going on. I've never seen a doppelganger of myself, but I've seen it of someone else, and it was weeeird! ... to say the least. The "copy" of my friend was not an exact copy, but he definitely was another Brian, and acted like he was actually Brian. There was something different about the "copy" but I couldn't tell what it was. The real Brian called me on the phone at the time I was looking at the "copy" of him. I still don't know what to make of it. The universe has its strange things and because we don't understand everything, or anything about them, we tend to label them "paranormal". This one is one of them. Maybe it's true that there are parallel realities and sometimes they mix in strange ways. I wish I had asked the "copy" to talk to the Brian I was talking to on the phone, but I was so shocked that I didn't know what to do. I'll always wonder what would have happened.

What if you get a really bad hangnail?
First, stop drinking or doing drugs.
Sober up good, then decide that you will only be you.
Walk forward in your own life.

Someone who is good at literary terms and english please help?
I've heard of the technique of 'doppelganger' which is used to describe an evil twin, or ghostly double of character.
In 'The withered arm' Rhoda has a dream she sees the person she hates, but disfigured and evil.
Would it be appropriate to describe the character in the dream as a 'doppelganger'?
Also, how would this word be put into context?Someone who is good at literary terms and english please help?
I do not know this text but It sounds like the person described is not an evil twin of Rhoda but in fact a representation of herself and therefore should NOT be described as a dopplegager. Try describing this person as the personification of Rhoda's fears - she hates this person and also dreams of her indicating that she is afraid of becoming this 'evil' figure.
Could do with reading the text really.

No. No matter what level you are, the rewards for beating doppelganger will always be the same from game to game. The broadsword only seemed weaker because it had the highest stats (I'm assuming) in the first game, but there is plenty of new, and stronger, equipment available in the new game as your level progresses. Also, doppelganger is always 8 levels higher than Haseo without going over the level cap, so fighting him at level 50 would make him level 58.
The rewards for the second game are;
For the first defeat, you'll get Heine's Shadow and the Forgotten Shadow key
item, along with Heine's Invasion if you have the Own King from the first
volume (Rebirth). Heine's Shadow is Doppel's broadsword and Heine's Invasion
is the name of Doppel's dual swords.
A second defeat nets you the Moonlight Faith key item and Heine's Zero,
Doppelganger's scythe. All subsequent defeats give you the normal mission

I dreamt that there was a doppelganger in my house. It was a ghostly doppelganger of me and was trying to kill me. I saw mine years ago when my friend and I were on a bus trip. We were going through this small town slowly and this girl was standing on the sidewalk staring at me.
