Bilocation, Doppelganger?

Does anybody know of any books about Doppelgangers or Bilocation? The wikipedia page just doesn't cut it for me. Whats the difference between the two? The page says that a doppelganger is a sinister form of bilocation or somthing, but is it considered, itself, evil? Or is just the message if usually presents, illness/death, evil?

thanks

"The doppelgangers of folklore cast no shadow, and have no reflection in a mirror or in water. They are supposed to provide advice to the person they shadow, but this advice can be misleading or malicious."

I don't think they're supposed to be TOTALLY evil, but they probably vary.

Depending on he situation, a doppelganger can be evil or a metaphor for something bad and unwanted. In addition doppelgangers can be more than two, while bilocations involve only two parties...
