They are made of the same stuff that ghosts are made of, whatever that is. Maybe ectoplasm, or maybe the same stuff that thoughts are made of.
The Doppleganger is not a person; it's a spirit. It has a consciousness, it's the "dark side" of a person, hence my earlier description "Your Evil Twin." Most people only feel them; a sensitive can see them. Most people don't have Dopplegangers; only evil shamans and very ill people have them.
